YDAP training

Together for Children’s Youth Drug and Alcohol Project (YDAP) team will be hosting a series of Drug & Alcohol Brief Intervention training sessions in the coming months.

The sessions will give an overview of how drugs and alcohol are affecting young people in Sunderland and offer practical advice around brief interventions and screening best practice.

On completion of the training, attendees will have the knowledge and confidence to complete a drug and alcohol brief intervention. The training will also give a practical overview of how and when to implement the drug and alcohol screening tool, which enables the learner to decide if a brief intervention is the correct course of action.
