Right from the moment you are on-boarded into the Company and throughout your journey with us you can access a range of mandatory, specialist, self-directed and external learning opportunities.  We have won awards for our Leadership Development strategy and for our Coaching approach on account of the positive impact it has made in building and maintaining a positive and inclusive company culture.

We have a Management & Leadership Programme for staff wishing to progress alongside a wide and varied Apprenticeship offer. Our frontline staff consistently praise the TfC Social Care Academy offer and whether you join us as a student, newly qualified social worker or post qualified social worker/Manager you will be fully supported to progress and thrive at TfC.

Your learning needs will be constantly revisited through our Thrive@TfC Programme which runs alongside our personal supervision, professional supervision (frontline only) approaches.  At TfC you will receive protected time for reflective practice with your Manager or Practice Assessor and individualised support as required.

Our size, structure and flexibility also allow for a different approach to learning with shadowing actively encouraged and even 2 days per year employer supported volunteering.
