Wear Here 4 You

What do we do?

The Wear Here 4 You team can support schools and youth provisions by organising prevention workshops and signposting opportunities, working in collaboration with professionals from various support services across the city, ensuring our children and young people are receiving the correct information at the earliest opportunity.

We have listed a number of areas of support we offer on the reverse side of this leaflet. Please note if there is anything not listed you need support with, please let us know.

Who is this service for?

All of our sessions are appropriate for young people in secondary school and college.

We cover all of the topics below:

  • Anti-Bullying
  • Anti Social Behaviour & Knife Crime
  • Environmental Awareness
  •  Fire awareness and safety
  • Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) Programme
  • Mental Health
  • Nutritional Education

Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) Programme

Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) Programme

Wear Here 4 is Sunderland's local version of the Department for Education's Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme. It offers fun, enriching activities and nutritious meals during school holidays. Running in spring, summer and winter, the programme gives school-aged children the chance to enjoy sports, arts, culture and learning, alongside healthy meals and cooking skills they can use at home.
