Sunderland Young Achievers' Awards

The Sunderland Young Achievers' Awards celebrate the achievements of children and young people aged eight to 18 or up to 25 with a special educational need or disability (SEND), recognising their bravery, talent and positive contributions to their communities.

The awards are open to individuals or groups living in Sunderland including Washington, Houghton and Hetton. This year the award categories have been revamped with categories including Arts and Culture, Health and Wellbeing, Mental Health, Environmental Champion, Youth Voice, Personal Growth and brand new for 2025 the Music and Bringing Communities Together award. This year the Sunderland Young Achievers' Award 2025 will take place on Friday 4th April at The Fire Station in Sunderland city centre. 

Nominations are now open - read the launch press release here and the deadline for nominations is Friday 31st January 2025.
