Performance: Census Checking and Attainment Analysis
The Performance Team is highly experienced and proven in supporting schools across Sunderland to review and submit statutory data collections for Primary Assessment and School Census collections.
The Performance Team has one Core Offer available to schools that includes the following:
- Comprehensive pre-collection guidance and support for all statutory collections for the Department for Education (DfE)
- Telephone / e-mail advice and support during office hours offering support for the production and processing of statutory returns, for example: School Census and Key Stage data returns
- Quality checking of Spring, Summer and Autumn school census returns, ensuring no relevant eligibility is missed. FSM and EYPP entitlement checks are included which, if missed would affect the schools Pupil Premium funding amounts
- We collect over 100,000 assessment and examination results across six annual collections; as well as approximately 10,000 pupil records in the Early Years Foundation Stage Profile, Year 1 and 2 Phonics and Key Stage 1. We will check and validate your assessment data before we submit your return to the Department for Education.
- Access to Perspective Lite. This will provide the ability to fully understand your data via Perspective Lite. This will give you access to the first set of provisional assessment data months ahead of its release by the DfE.
- Primary transfer files containing expected school starter contextual information.
- KS2 performance and contextual information.
- Year 7 admission transfer files for secondary schools.
