HR support

Our team can provide support, information and guidance with all aspects of HR administration. We will work with you to tailor contractual documentation to the terms and conditions of your academy.

We will:

  • Place adverts and upload any relevant recruitment documentation (i.e. job description, person specification) on North East Jobs website within 2 working days of receipt.
  • Provide template application forms that comply with safer recruitment and other requirements for posts that involve working with children.
  • Process DBS checks for new starters*
  • Process a separate barred list check when instructed.
  • Undertake appropriate Secretary of State checks when instructed.
  • Issue confirmation of completed pre-employment checks.
  • Produce letters of appointment.
  • Produce all associated contractual documentation, including Statement of Particulars, letters confirming variation to contracts, in line with legal timeframes.
  • Provide correspondence in relation to maternity/paternity/adoption leave entitlement and pay.
  • Check new starter paperwork to ensure your appointments are in accordance with appropriate terms and conditions.

Additional Services

Our additional services can be used to complement our Support service or can be bought on 'pay as you go' basis as and when you need us.

  • Additional administrative support for the recruitment to leadership posts, including the coordination of application packs, production of shortlisting packs, reference requests and interview invites.
  • Place adverts on North East Jobs website.
  • Process DBS checks.
  • Process a separate barred list check.

Please note that schools/academies will be charged for each DBS check (and additional DDC check where required) as per the fees outlined below.
