The Trust offers a comprehensive training programme designed to support professionals working with children and young people, with specialist courses delivered by expert Speech and Language Therapy teams.
The Children's Speech and Language Therapy team from South Tyneside and Sunderland NHS Foundation Trust have shared a range of training and resources to help professionals identify the most suitable support for children's communication needs, including free sessions on using visuals and communication boards, alongside a wider offer of STSFT‑supported programmes delivered virtually or face‑to‑face, with additional guidance available through the integrated SLC Pathway and local Family Hubs.
