Our overall winner is chosen from all category winners.

On a night filled with inspiration and celebration, the overall winner of the Sunderland Young Achievers' Awards 2025 was announced. The prestigious moment was graced by The Right Worshipful the Mayor of the City of Sunderland, Councillor Ehthesham Haque.

As the audience listened to the remarkable achievements of the winners and Highly Commended nominees, it became clear just how challenging it was for the judges to select one overall winner. After careful deliberation, numerous discussions, and, a few tears, the decision was made.

We are delighted to announce that the very deserving winner of the 2026 Sunderland Young Achievers' Award was Sandhill View Deaf  Resource who also took home our Bringing Communities Together Award 2026 Award.
