We're currently recruiting for a number of Residential Child Care Workers on a permanent and relief basis. To do this role, you should:
- Be over the age of 21 (required due to children's homes regulations)
- Hold a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Child Care (or equivalent) or be willing and able to undertake a qualification
- Have experience of working with young people
- Be flexible and be able to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays, including sleep ins
- Have a reasonable level of IT skills
- Demonstrate the passion and determination needed to provide care and support young people living in our children's homes

Residential Child Care Worker
Grade 5 SCP 17-22: £29,529 to £32,382 (inclusive of 10% alternating shift allowance), sleep ins payable at £37.72 per sleep in
We have an exciting opportunity for Residential Child Care Workers to join our company in our new Edge of Care Residential Hub or one of our established Children's Homes.
The successful candidate will work closely with our Wear Together Edge of Care Team and existing Children's Homes to deliver exceptional short-term and emergency care to young people in Sunderland.
